I think there may be few things more exciting than seeing your own novel pop up in a newsletter you love and would be reading anyway! Thank you so much for including The Names here with this lovely review (and delighted to be alongside two books I'm so keen to read myself). x

Oh that is so lovely for ME to read. That you were here, anyway, and then got to see this. You deserve every success, Florence—enjoy it all!

I open this post with one eye shut, knowing it's another book to add to my pile. ..And it's one of the reasons I joined substack. Your reviews are always thorough and I trust your judgement. 'The Names' is on my list, and most definitely want to read it now. What a good premise!

Whoever created the cover for Happiness Forever is genius, just hold me back from purchasing for the cuteness alone

so excited to read happiness forever. did it remind you of big Swiss at all? thats the vibe I get. I'm going to be reading sleeping children soon which I think might be similar to a room above a shop. love these roundups :)

I did not love Big Swiss (I loved the first half but not the second) but I agree, it is reminiscent! This feels much sweeter and tenderer
