I bought the hard copy on release and it's great. A true vignette of storytellers favourite titles. Definitely a stocking filler or to replace a bottle wine for a host. All for a great cause!
And, I also remember exactly where I was when I read that twist in We need to talk about Kevin. I wonder if a twist could blindside us like that these days what with social media and all its spoilers?
I've just pointed this out to my partner and said, you can buy me this for Christmas. Lovely of you to do this Pandora - I was lucky enough to have parents who indulged my love of books, bought from jumble sales, second hand shops, WH Smith when we were in the "big town", and our local bookshop. They didn't have a lot of money then, having just bought a farm - but I think they thought it was a good way to keep me quiet! Incidentally, Goodnight Mr Tom is the only book my son ever read, apart from The Broons and Oor Wullie annuals (peculiarly Scottish phenomena!)
It doesn’t have a US publisher (bit tricky when it’s a book in aid of a British charity annoyingly!) BUT you should be able to ship internationally from Bookshop.org. Let me know if not :)

Yes exactly! Good for a sober host :)
Ditto - and couldn't agree more!
I loved this book, I bought it when it first came out but a great reminder to dip in again! A great cause too 😊
It’s the best dippy book. Thank you so much for buying!
Lovely piece :) Am wondering what is the newspaper slot that you read weekly that shares books the make authors cry etc?
The Books That Made Me, in The Guardian!
I love that column too! I thought to myself, that's The Guardian!
Can’t wait to read this!

Is this book available for purchase in the US? I'd love to read it!

Hi Pandora, I'd love to know which second hand book shop you buy from?
World of Books ❤️ But I usually link on this newsletter to Bookshop.org as WoB doesn’t always have copies/ multiple copies of new releases
Lovely, can’t wait to read this and distribute a few copies to my reader friends and children!
Oh yay thank you!
This was such a wonderful read Pandora - thank you x
Thank you so much Liam
