This was such a thoughtful and thought-provoking piece that touched on so many things (the bit about hyperbole articulated a thought I’ve had for a good while). I will be checking out her poetry and ordering this book!
hahaha I do hear this a bit. I really want to keep this letter a culture space, not a shopping space - there are now so many substacks, that I want my USP here to be super clear! - BUT I will try and chuck in something occasionally, yes. because you can't take the magpie out of me
