Adding all three of these to my holiday reading list! I feel like YA has (pun intended) matured so much in the past several years to be as much for young readers as it is young-at-heart ones. Enjoy the break!
Have a good summer break! Here in Scotland, we're halfway through already! We spent the first half in Lisbon, and now I'm starring down a massive to do list and a ticking clock!
Both Bellies and Ordinary Human Failings are new to me, and seem right up my alley. I'm reading Ilustrado by Miguel Syjuco, as part of my read around the world project. And it reminds me how much I love a book that plays with form.
Love the newsletter. Genuinely, I think you are never too old for YA. A particular joy of YA for me is sharing books with my oldest daughter. Maybe a future newsletter on great YA reads?
Oh god obviously I meant be more CHERYL not Carol

I actually don’t read much YA literature, but I did love The Great Godden! As did my niece
I'll give it a read, thanks!
