I bought two copies of What Writers Read. One copy for me and one as a gift. The hardback is especially pretty so I will keep that one for me!😊

I’ve gifted the Golden Mole twice now, at your recommendation, (and obviously once for myself too) and it’s been so well-received. It really is the loveliest book!

Oh I’m so pleased to hear that she’s out in the world! Because it’s a book I’m aid of an English charity it isn’t one that can be sold to other territories (that i could figure out anyway) So that’s so nice to hear it’s found its way across the pond regardless

Ooo snapping some of these for myself. Suggestions for history lovers or non-fic: The House of Dudley (v good cover), mystery lovers: Shady Hollow series, esp the American editions, “Darling” by India Knight for those that like a laugh and beautiful writing.

I just ordered 2 copies of Maurice for friends – those Luke Edward Hall illustrations are just gorgeous! The book from the I Thought About That A Lot essay advent calendar is also lovely.

It IS amazing (I may be biased as I’m the one who wrote the Taylor essay that Amy’s linked to) - you should definitely take a look!

Yes! Today's essay: In 2024, I thought a lot about Taylor Swift

A 41-year-old in her 'middle-age mum era' writes about the level-headedness that age brings to fandom.
