Book Thoughts: Ready For Absolutely Nothing by Susannah Constantine

This book was not what I thought it would be

Hullo ullo ULLO. I think I’ve said this before - but there is nothing like a book recommendation from someone who loves you and knows your taste. And I’ve definitely said this before - my sister has both extremely different taste in books to me (she loves thrillers and historical fiction) and very similar (we both love contemporary fiction which places great characters against a backdrop of specific societal issues/ moments - Demon Copperfield for EG.) But I was still surprised when about a month ago she left me a voicenote telling me that I had to read Susannah Constantine’s memoir, because she’d been listening to it on audio and she was currently alone in her car, howling.
