I know it’s fashionable to hate And Just Like That/ anything relating to Carrie Bradshaw but I loved series 2. LOVED IT. And I’m sure that’s in part due to one of the writers being Samantha Irby. I’ve been a fan of Irby’s work for a little while - I interviewed her for The High Low in 2020 and found her rip-roaringly entertaining - not least because her books have the greatest titles and covers ever.
I do not use that compliment lightly. It is not hyperbole. They are an example of extremely clever marketing while not being remotely misleading or imitative of anything else. This is very difficult to do (and publishing often does not. The amount of covers that look like other, usually very well-selling, covers!) To get a great cover which is truly representative of the material while not looking like anything else on the market 👌
